How long until the worst coach in the conference is fired?

Will he make it through next season?

For the past 2 years we heard from aggy & thebigOSU that Capel couldn't win without Blake.

He had no problem winning vs Hillbilly Ford.

Is splitting against OSU the last three years what you strive for? :clap

The aggies were our best win last year RPI wise. Why would you want the hillbilly to go?

I hope he stays forever.

I think I can say without reservation that there is not a sane OU fan on this board who would take Travis Ford over Lon Kruger.

OSU is going to have NCAA type talent and should compete for the top of the league. They will have one of the top players in the league. That should buy Ford a few years. If they don't make the NCAA tournament next year, Ford is gone.

His team will underachieve.

Okay?

I was talking about bocabull's comment of Capel having no problem beating Ford without Griffin, when he had a losing record against him (2-3).

But, to your point, If I could trade Ford for Kruger while keeping the same roster, facilities, etc... I might do that for a few years. But, I'd rather have OSU's roster, facilities, etc... going forward. From Kruger's career record I think it's obvious he's a good coach, but I think Ford is a pretty good coach with the potential to be very good.

Okay?

I don't remember talking about rosters and facilities.

As far as Ford being a pretty good coach with potential, we disagree. I think he is an average recruiter, occasionally hauls a big name. I think he manages his players poorly outside of game day, and is only marginal on game day. I feel very confident that if both coaches stay where they are, in two years OU will be dominating OSU and that trend will continue...as it should, of course.

As you should. Fans should always feel confident about their schools/teams future success. Just like I feel good about Ford going forward.

Anyways, congrats on the hire, I've never paid close attention to how Kruger's teams play, but you can look at his career record and know that he knows what he's doing.
