Horns Beat Bruins.

Yea Texas almost gave it away in the 4th quarter… I still cannot believe Oklahoma loss to UCLA, they just are not that good. UCLA played against Texas team that only had 7 available players. UCLA has 1 good shooting guard and Lauren is not better then Raegan. I bet our 2nd time around if we ever face them again we win, if we stay out of foul trouble. Im not impress with UCLA at all. They got us in our 2nd game of the season so I can’t complain too much.

Im extremely nervous for us to go on the road to Texas 😬 I think Texas is probably the best team in the SEC as of right now.

I just think the Texas defense is that good! Vic is an excellent coach. Definitely a system coach, but very good at the discipline part of the game. Harmon had her best night as well. They’ll try to slow us down and make us beat them in a half court set. That will be tough for us, so we need to work on that and definitely out rebound them to make fast runs. It will take our starters not getting in foul trouble and Reagan on the court more minutes than usual. I trust JB though. Very tough environment. I have noticed the attendance at their games are very low too. Hope they don’t fill it that night.

I think this year will be the Horns' best chance at a natty. They legit could be the best team in college right now, but we will see how things develop throughout the season. You just never know. I watched them beat UCLA AND South Carolina and they impressed me very much. Elite defensively, but their offense is also improved from last few seasons, which makes them tough as heck to beat. Would like to see how they match up with UConn, but idk if we will see that before March?

I think our team has a high ceiling, but only time will tell. The development of the bench is critical, IMO. Loving Chavez as our floor leader, and our starting five are as good as any team our program has had in recent memory, and i've been watching since about 2002.

Texas has top-level players all over their roster. OU has 2. That's the difference, IMO. Texas has more talent, and the 26 recruiting class will just make that disparity even greater.
