Not surprising. Considering his first post contradicts itself.

"You will have to offer over 2 million."
"We have offered 1.7 and won't go higher."

There's about a half million dollars unaccounted for somewhere...

Wasn't trying to contradict. There are ways to bump up contract with bonus and other incentives. We were not going over 2.

I am not sure of the link above. It has been deleted but I do not visit that site. The people on that site are strange. I would put more stock into Memphisroar.com.

I am not sure what happened with the deal yet. OU did express interest regardess of what Jeff Goodman says. All I can say is some on our side were actually pulling for you guys to land him. He is making a lot of money for a guy with only 2 years under his belt. He will be held on a shorter leash.

Anyway, good luck on the search. It is important to me that you guys land a good coach. Part of my family lives in the area and they are huge sooner fans.
