Improvement on Student tickets

Saw on Twitter today that student tickets now are directly on the student's swipe card/ID instead of them having to go pick up or print off paper tickets. That is much better in a lot of ways. The downside is that the student can't just give away/sell their ticket now if they can't go.

surely they have it set up where you can go online and transfer a ticket to another student id.

Hopefully. But that is still probably not as simple as just handing someone a ticket like the old system.

Overall, I like the simplicity of the students not having to go pick up or print off tickets now.

If there isn't a way to transfer, I don't think this way will really help at all. In the past even if you forgot to print it at home, they would have a table at the entrance where you could get a hard copy. So I don't think anyone didn't come because of having to print the ticket.
Also I'm curious how they will keep track of how many of the students with season tickets actually come and how many tickets they can sell at the door, especially if there isn't some sort of transfer system. I'm sure they have something worked out, but I'd assume it would be a little complicated guessing.
