OU's Maddie Manning sustained an MCL sprain in the fourth quarter against OSU, per OU. No surgery, but time table for return is unknown

I would have think it would be very difficult for her to come back before the national tournament. They will be cautious with her more so than anyone.

Actually it was Dungee that fell into her.

Only because Chelsea was driven into the ground by Coleman, who lowered her shoulder and also used her forearm to drive Chelsea 10 feet backwards.

The Big-12 is going to start facing serious lawsuits if they don't get serious about at least giving slight effort at protecting the health of athletes. That is exactly what has caused the NFL to get serious about injuries and how to minimize them.

Chelsea hitting her knee could be called an accident. Chelsea had defensive position and the OSU player fouled her twice. It was on the 2nd foul that Chelsea was knocked back into Maddie's knee and Maddie was well out of the play. Had the official done their job the first time, there would have been no injury.

If its a Grade I sprain probably 2-4 weeks, I wouldn't look for her to be back before the Big XII tournament.
