Interesting video on OSU plane crash

Definitely hard to believe that was 10 years ago.

For a period of time, we all just became Oklahomans instead of fans for either school. I hope no other school or organization ever has to endure a tragedy like that.

Well said. GOD bless those affected by the tragedy.

I also want to add, and I'm guilty of this, that criticizing Eddie or Sean Sutton for their disease is really bad in light of everything they have been through with the plane crash. As I watched the video (and the one about Nate Fleming) I tried to envision myself in Sean or Eddie's shoes. I can't imagine having to call the wife/parents of the men who perished.

Heck, I was a blubbering mess when I had to put my wifes 2 poodles down a few years ago and I didn't really care for the dogs that much.

You won't see me rip Eddie or Sean from here on. I hope they can get their lives back together. Eddie is old so he doesn't have a lot left, but Sean can still impact lives of young kids because he will be given another chance.

I watched the one on Nate as well since he went to my high school and spent a lot of time playing tennis where I did. I didn't know him personally because he's quite a bit older than me but it was pretty sad to watch that and it really hit home seeing him in his Edmond North jersey.

Yeah - you hate to ever make excuses for what they did... but the crash clearly took a huge toll on both of them.

By pretty much all accounts, neither of them were the same after the crash, especially Sean...

Pat Noyes, the director of b-ball operations who was one of the 10, was one of Sean's best friends.

I think the excellent teams we had in 2004/2005 may have temporarily given them a respite, but as soon as some adversity hit (2006), they both took a turn for the worse.
