Iowa State is a senior-heavy team. Five (5) of their top eight players are seniors.

PPG .... Minutes .... Class ...... Player
15.0 ...... 31.4 ..... Senior ... Will Clyburn (G, 6-7, 210)
13.2 ...... 24.0 ..... Senior ... Tyrus McGee (G, 6-2, 205)
12.0 ...... 24.7 ..... Frosh ... Georges Niang (F, 6-7, 245)
11.2 ...... 27.1 ..... Junior ... Melvin Ejim (F, 6-6, 230)
..9.9 ...... 31.0 ..... Senior ... Korie Lucious (G, 5-11, 170)
..9.3 ...... 33.5 ..... Senior ... Chris Babb (G, 6-5, 225)
..4.6 ...... 12.4 ..... Soph ..... Percy Gibson (C, 6-9, 260)
..3.3 ...... 11.8 ..... Senior ... Anthony Booker (F, 6-9, 255)

The only other players that played much at all are:

Naz Long (Fr, G, 6-4, 210) played in 17 games where he averaged 1.5 points.
Bubu Palo (Jr, G, 6-1, 180) played in 15 games where he averaged 2.9 points.

ISU returns 2 players that average double-digit scoring .. Niang (6'7) and Ejim (6'6).

Will Clyburn being a senior is cause for celebration. I have no idea why he doesn't get more national and even regional attention. He's the toughest matchup in the league.

I think they have at least one more transfer sitting out this year. I think Fran mentioned him during one of the games and is supposed to be very good.

I wouldn't mind having the three underclassmen who will still be around next year, though. Niang and Ejim are really good. Gibson is not bad either.

Niang is a good one to build around for the next 3 years. Same way I feel about Buddy for us.

Talking to some ISU fans, they're excited about a SG from the either tge Detroit or Milwaukee area, cant remember which. Supposedly can light it up.

They've got a guy named Matt Thomas coming in, who is supposed to be a monster shooter.

Bubu Palo is a nice role player. I think he was suspended for the first half of the season.

Regardless even with Niang, Ejim, the transfer and Palo I think they have a lot of work to develop a good team.
