You never know what will happen. I have seen teams collapse for good and I have seen teams look terrible for a stretch and then bounce back. Coaches need to deal with it and players need to want to get better.
I see it as both a chemistry and talent issue. I think players have started to lose confidence and probably don’t feel involved, especially when Trae shoots the long 3s just seconds into the shot clock. On the other hand I think teams have forced everyone other than Trae into their weakness and they have not handled it well.
Regardless, I would start with defense. Everyone can be involved on the defensive end if they have the attitude. Coaches also need to correct mistakes and put them in position to play solid D if they are playing it with desire. I just don’t see this team getting enough stops down the stretch and just not playing solid D for an entire game.
