If anyone is going to beat Baylor, they have to have enough guts to at least challenge Griner on defense. Yes, she will block some shots, but you at least have a chance to get some fouls called on her. I don't know if it's Fennelly's game plan or ISU's bigs just being afraid, but they have made life way too easy on Griner. ISU's bigs are pretty tough if they are allowed to use their elbows to make space and use both hands to push people out of their way. If that doesn't work, they are fairly useless.

Looks like a high school team playing a college team, and they stomped on us. Baylor even with out Griner is a very talented, and I hate to say well coached team. Not sure what Fennelly's game plan was but it isn't working. You are correct you have to get in low on Griner and hope you get a foul call.

With about eight minutes left, Griner is almost matching the entire Iowa State team. Poppens and Christofferson failed to appear. Griner has 28 points. The entire Iowa State team now has 34. Poppens and Christofferson with a total of 8 with six rebounds. Griner has seven. If it weren't for Prins, the Cyclones might not even score.

Baylor's defense is outstanding most of the time. They make you work for everything you get.

Fennelly should have thrown his fit in the first minute or two of the game when Poppins was slammed to the floor.

I look forward to Kim's apology for her player throwing in a 3 w/ time running out.

You have to outmug the muggers.

Playing BU sure does seem to bring out the worst in Bill (well, temper-wise). It took his entire staff to hold him back tonight.

Considering the fact that Poppins got slammed to the floor twice w/ no fouls called, I thought he was a model of decorum.

I didn't watch the game because I knew what would happen. The officials seem to let Baylor play. They slept through the OSU game, but not two games in a row. I don't know when I've seen Baylor look so disorganized and lazy on their passes as against OSU.

Yeah, you can't watch a Hypocrite U game these days without Griner throwing someone to the floor multiple times and most times no foul is called. This player has only fouled out TWICE in 4 years! Amazing! As Skeletor says, "Griner doesn't foul!"

I think the NCAA wants the exposure of the star player for the sport. We've seen it before but I think this takes the cake! DISGUSTING!

There is good news. The AAU six will never again play a Big Twelve game. I wish we could say that Kim would never coach another.

Maybe she will follow them to the pros.

Congrats, Baylor, on an incredible two years in the Big 12 conference. I hope you enjoyed it while it lasted.

In other news, I really like ISU's frontcourt, but they just happened to get shut down tonight. I don't feel it was a matter of them not showing up. Having watched the entire game, they just got downright outplayed by better players.

Now, we wait. When was the last time an OU team was one and done in the NCAAs?

The year before the twins got here, they lost to Arizona.

That was 2005 in Knoxville. OU was an 8-seed with a record of 17-13 entering the tourney.

I remember that overall the Big 12 was kinda weak that year. For those who are wringing their hands about OU's NCAA fate this year, compare with OU's record of 22-10 in the nation's toughest conference (again) this year, with Baylor the heavy favorite to win the Big 12's third consecutive national championship.

In 2005, OU was the 7th seed in the Big 12 tourney.

Fennelly can be a very animated coach. He has gotten worked up on the sidelines many times over the years.

Very few people ever criticize him for this, though. That only applies to some other coaches.
