adopted the same approach she did in the year we played for the championship. Who played the point depended on the situation. Same lineup but who was point varied. Signal from the bench? Defense played? Who knows? We certainly have the freedom based on the apparent talent on hand to mix it up.
 
I think that 2002 was a reflection of Sherri. Since, she has tried to adapt to the recruits that she got, and it kind of ruins the flow of her offense. If Sherri had guards tall enough to rebound and play defense in the interior, I think she would rather play a five-guard offense.
 
I think Sherri has been waiting for a Gabbi Ortiz for quite some time. It will surprise me if we see anyone else at the point until Gabbi comes out of the game for a rest. Gabbi will likely make some mistakes early in her career but if you can live with her miscues for a year, I think we will have a gem for the next 3 years. If we have to struggle a bit, I would rather do so this year as we aren't going to compete for a final four anyway.
