Can there be any doubt that the national communists against athletes is punishing OU by delaying their ruling on Tiny? They are certainly not stupid enough to be unaware of the effects of negative recruiting this situation affords other teams. Stupid, incompetent, protective of their favorites and thoroughgoing martinets, but this is ridiculous. The facts are not in dispute therefore there is NO excuse to delay a decision.

They aren't dragging their feet, thery got a bag of nothing.

OU believes we will know the punishment if there is one in August. Capel's firing may help us in the NCAA's eyes is the hope of our administration.

I do not believe that they have very much concrete information, probably circumstantial stuff. If it were that serious, I would think that we would have been proactive and self-sanctioned and asked the NCAA to approve. As it stands, we fired the entire coaching staff and the player that was at issue is no longer here. Not sure what else OU could do except give up a scholarship or two [but we seem intent on filling those, which is what I would do].

When things like this pop-up at Kentucky,N,Carolina,Duke,it is always handled swiftly by the ncaa because the Ad"s of those University"s demand it...$$$$$ talks..
