It's So Nice

I would leave Odyssey on the court regardless how many turnovers or fouls she has as long as she can still go. She was off tonight, it happens when you face great coaches that form solid game plans. UCONN is a great defensive team, but so is Baylor. We played very well tonight with a very young team and opened some eyes around the nation. Say what u want to about Sims, but I bet you wish she was on your team!

Don't worry you will get to see her up close and personal this season and we all know what she is capable of doing at the LNC! Sic'em!!
Actually, mulk. I think Sims and Stewart are the two best in the nation, and I would love to have either on an international team. But, as much as I think of Sims as a player, I do not wish to have her on OU's team. I do think that there are other things that matter. For the purposes of a university, I'd rather have Morgan Hook.

So; much like the NBA a called foul depends on who commits it... She didn't make that comment when Dolson or Stewart or Hartley committed their 3rd fouls and they are stars.

Hartley had a very silly 3rd foul same with Dolson.

It would have been even more of a shame if they should have fouled out and didn't because of some double standard evidently some feel is needed to market the game.

Double standard on fouls? - check

Double standard on turnovers? - check

Exactly! It's a TEAM game, not an individual game.

It should be noted that Sims has to take shots for Baylor because half the team doesn't seem to be scores, did anyone see how many open looks Johnson passed up.

Baylor only has 2 players who can shoot from BTA, Sims and Robertson. We are pretty much in the same boat unless Wyatt is in the game.

Some of you criticized Baylor, Odyssey Sims, the commentators (which I agree, but they called BOTH sides poorly), the officials, etc. That's fine. That's what these forums are about. I hope it made you feel a bit better.

However, please do not forget how badly our team is struggling up to this point. Yes, struggling. When Baylor comes rolling in and Sims goes off for 40, you can blame fouls or whatever, but it won't be pretty for OUr team. Enjoy it while it lasted!

We're struggling? Duly noted! Click on the link in my sig. Tell me you don't laugh when you see other fanbases melt down on the Internet. Does it matter than our men's team has two losses and our women's team has six? Not at all. I only wished I started it sooner to make the Capel sendoff season more enjoyable.

It's the Internet. Have some fun and forget about real life for a bit

I loved watching #4 for UConn last night and the slender girl from Baylor (I don't remember her name or number).

I think you are referring to Nina Davis who had 15 rebounds. She has great potential and always seems to be around the ball.

Did you see the "flop" by Makenzie right before half time....Wow...She didn't even get hit, but she sure acted like she did. After checking it out, just a personal foul, not a flagrant. Has Mulky taught her how to do that? If she did, she needs to practice a little more.

Moriah Jefferson #4 on UConn is a special talent and is really good now that she starting. She took an unofficial visit to OU one summer back when Courtney Walker was sitll committed to OU.

I agree we really missed out on that one. She is gonna be someone special and lightening quick!
