It's "Star Wars Day" this Saturday at the LNC

Can't be any worse than the dancing firefighters...soonersam was mortified.

The guy who played Chewbacca will be signing autographs.

I really want to know how the that idea went down. Who approached who, and why did they possibly think it would be a good idea? :ez-laugh:

Was that for real? I honestly thought it was a Joke, until no one laughed. Those 4 couldn't dance a lick and they were second in the USA, I know it was a joke.

I have better dance moves then those guys, and I skipped going to all school dances last year. :chestram2:

If those guys finished 2nd. I can't imagine how bad the last place team was.
The people that sit around me all thought it was a joke. :facepalm

What's next? Star Trek day? I bet these guys show up.

Maybe Capel will have Darth Vader setting on the OU bench as a sub?Go Sooners!!!

All I got to say is: May the Force be with us!

How many can we flip to the dark side after the game?

Maybe we could get Al Eschbach to be Yoda.

Even better, I just got this in an email:

It’s Star Wars Day with OU men’s hoops on Saturday, January 22 at the Lloyd Noble Center. Chewbacca, Darth Vader, Storm troopers, Clones, R2-D2 and many more characters will be on-hand. Tickets start as low as $10 and fans should arrive early to meet your favorite Star Wars characters in attendance. Doors open at 11 a.m.

Sooner fans can meet Peter Mayhew, the actor who played Chewbacca, for autographs following the game in the Clinton Lounge located at the East Entrance area of the Lloyd Noble Center. The first 1,000 youth at the game will receive a LEGO Darth Vader or Chewbacca keychain.

Unreal. :ez-roll: :ez-roll: :ez-roll:
