He says the only vids he has are the ones on his instagram. Not the best quality but it's something. Kid is athletic:

that dunk from the FT line was ridiculous!!!!! if you look at the NBA stars that did it, they always step over the line... $$McNice dunked from further out.. omg

Can't wait till YoYo gets to put some meat on him.

That and needs to spend time with a basketball in his hands...really has trouble creating any type of offense off the bounce, facing up or back to the basket. Redshirt year would do wonders.

That dunk from the ft line is pretty impressive for a guy his size and I definitely see tremendous upside here with his size and athleticism.

By all accounts, Jamuni is raw offensively, but I love his athleticism!

One thing I noticed in the pics is that he appears to have huge hands. Take a look at the two-handed dunk in the first still show. His hands almost cover the ball.

We are bringing in some crazy long athletes this year.... Staff did some real work this off season.

While it is VERY impressive to see a guy this size move and jump like that, I believe you are looking at the wrong line. There are volleyball lines on the court, and he jumps from that line. He's about a foot inside the free throw line.

Again, I'm very impressed by his array of dunks, his leaping ability and athleticism at that size, but let's not go putting him in Serge Ibaka's territory just yet (as he was the only one I've seen actually take off with his foot fully behind the line)

I really hope he gets the basketball side of things down, this kid has Anthony Davis-light written all over him. Kids that hit this growth spurt and keep their athleticism from their time as a guard are rare.

I think it's also important to repeat what I said on another thread. Jamuni is a relative newcomer to competitive basketball. He said in this interview (see link below) that he didn't even make the team as a 5' 11" freshman. He was 6' 3" at the start of his sophomore year, but by the time the season ended he had shot up to 6' 6". That's when the high school coach promised to work with him if he would come out for the team.

So, in reality this kid has only been playing basketball at the high school level the past two years. If his progress continues, he's going to be really good in time.

SM: Well wherever you do end up going, you mentioned that you’ll most likely be redshirting for your first year because interestingly enough you’ve only been playing ball for a couple of years. How did you get started playing ball, and why so late?

JM: So, I lived in Texas my freshman year and I was kind of undersized. I was 5’11” I was an undersized post, so I didn’t make the team my freshman year. I ended up going to live with my mom for that summer after the school year ended and she ended up making me stay down there for my sophomore year. And from that time, from my freshman year to my sophomore year, I grew a few inches. I was 6’3 going into my sophomore year and about 6’6 coming out. My HS coach decided that I was good enough to start playing ball, he came to my class and talked to me and told me he’ll work with me. So before school, I’d go and work out with him at 6 AM on ball handling, and then I’d go to school, and after school we had practice and he helped me a lot. So he’s a big part of that

You don't see many guys that tall with that kind of athleticism. That's Blake Griffinish. If he can bulk up and develop great fundamentals, he could be an absolute beast.
