I thought Olukemi would be out and Brian Williams in, but having Olukemi replaces the loss of Williams. OSU has a talented starting 5 but doesn't have anybody to lose.

How does he get a waiver? I don't have anything against him but I thought he played in too many games to get a medical redshirt. I didn't think the NCAA ever granted waiver on that issue. I thought that was a strict formula.

It wasn't a question about his injury. He enrolled in JUCO but didn't play ball a semester early coming out of high school so his 5-year "clock" would have expired at the end of the fall 2012 semester. He claimed that he got bad advice regarding early enrollment and how it would affect his future eligibility.

Denver,

This has nothing to do with his ACL injury last year. This has to do with him taking junior college classes while he was still in high school. He received bad advice from someone and was told he wouldn't lose any eligibility. He was homeless from age 12-18, living in a van with his mother and 4 siblings so good advice was never really there for him. The kid finally caught a break and I couldn't be happier for him

NCAA did the right thing, punishing a kid for taking JUCO classes is absurd.

I wonder if he's going to start(dumb question)...b/c it would have been interesting to see Ford start Cobbins and either Jurick, Soucek or Murphy down low.

If Ford goes big down low...they make it to the tournament, He goes with 4 wings...they go to the NIT.

Ford already announced the starters

Smart
Brown
Nash
Murphy
Cobbins

Murphy is our best defender and rebounder. Kid is good

Thats his starting lineup for an exhibition game. The question is...will he stick with it.

I hope so, that starting 5 with

Olukemi
Forte
Gardner
Soucek
Sager

coming off the bench could win a good amount of ballgames

He's on the team, but he didn't dress last night. An achilles rupture for a guy that size is a tough injury to recover from.

Cobbins is down now, too. Tough start. Running out of bodies.

I thought he was/probably still is a drug dealer and thus suspended.
