Juco Center Emmanuel Ugboh being recruited by OU

Anyway we can stay on topic about recruiting Ugboh vs talking about players and defense/positions on the team. Just a recommendation to stay on topic or start a new thread.

I wouldn't call Diakite a "small" 5. To me, he is kind of the new normal for the position, and essentially what OU tried to have in McNeace, and is trying to have in Kuath, Iwuakor, and Garang. Somebody in that 6'9 range that is long and has a good wing-span, and isn't necessarily thick. OU needs to find a player just like that dude to man the 5 spot. He is the new 5, and he had 3 inches on Doolittle, plus I'm guessing more considering the wing-span.

We arent recruiting Ugboh...
 
Polla will be here next year unless something changes.

Doo was a very good defender this year in addition to playing much better offensively the last half of the season.

Harmon and Bienemy both can handle the ball and play off the ball. We should finally be able to dribble the ball as a team . It will be close to Woodard and Cousins.

Williams is likely to contribute as a wing.

The Joe Muzzatto article the other day made it seem as though Polla would be back next season.

I think they have the potential to be better than Woodard and Cousins. IMO Harmon will be better than Woodard sooner than later. Bieniemy will be better as a soph than Cousins was, but Cousins made a big jump for his JR & SR years. Hopefully JB can do the same.

Cousins had a big jump between fr-soph & jr-sr. He was very solid as a sophomore.
