I don't really care about ugly or not and Sean Sutton is probably the all time ugliest but I think Jurick is going to be a respectable center next season. He had some really good passes. He still needs to work on his game but the guy is huge and made some nice plays last night. Obviously he is not likely to be a star player but I think he is a guy that can really help OSU through confernece play this year and next season.

I think so too.

He's already a really good defensive player, and he's still learning.

If he can get anything going on the offensive end, he'll be a good player.

In a lot of ways, he reminds me of former OSU player Andre Williams when he was a freshman. They have different styles, but the same result: great on the defensive end; almost totally worthless on the offensive end.

But Andre worked on his game and became a pretty good player.

I think he can become a pretty good offensive player. He needs to develop a single move maybe two that he can consistenly use. With his size he should be able to score often with a good drop step or hook from about 10' and closer. Then if teams double pass the ball. He had a really nice pass last night. If he can just add a little I think he will be a good player. He could be in the high post and pass, he can set screens, there a lot of things a guy like that can do.
 
I liked what I saw from Jurick on Monday better than what I have seen from Arent so far this year. They both need to work on their offense but Jurick made at least one great pass on Monday. He also looks bigger. OSU lists him at 6'11". Jurick also made some mistakes on Monday. Both guys need some work.

I always thought if I were that big I could crush people with a little hook shot. I just don't see how you defend it but you rarely see big guys do it these days.

I will say chicks like guys with 10's of millions in their bank account but Blake Griffin looks like the missing link.

Look at the rest of the leagues stars. KD, LeBron, Amare, Carmelo, Deron Williams, Paul Pierce, Dirk, Zac Randolph, Derrick Rose, Boozer. Some weird looking dudes.
