my bestfriend knows a lady that works with the OU basketball department & she recently told her that after her 18 years of working here with tubbs, sampson, capel & now kruger she is the most excited about kruger. she said he told her she didnt have to worry about finding a new job w/o meeting her & when she met him she was greeted with a hug. she said OU basketball is back on the right track!!

Just to add to the excitement around kruger.

My parents dropped their donor season tickets last year after having them for 10 years and last month they received a nice long letter from Kruger basically asking if they would reconsider supporting the team again. The thought that Kruger wrote the lettera and the fact they are making an attempt to reach out has my dad excited and I believe convinced into getting tickets again.

I hate to say it, but I told you so. Kruger is light years better in every phase than our last coach. Not even in the same galaxy comparison.

Nice story, although the likelyhood of Kruger actually writing this letter is slim to none. He signed it though.

I think it might also show that Capel came from the part of the country where you did not have to work as hard in this area of basektball relations.
