FORUM CONSENSUS: Martin is making a blatant appeal to Miami: Offer me, I'll come.

Most Wildcat fans are probably more than a little miffed. The rational Cat fans, on the other hand, realize that The Little Apple doesn't stack up to the better jobs around the country.

it's just stupid. martin looks stupid, he makes kstate look bad, he burns a little fan goodwill. it's all stupid.

obviously he was counting on getting to go home. it didn't happen, begging in front of the media won't change that.

Not really a good comparison.

UCO to OU is a big jump; KSU to Miami is at best a lateral move for Martin. For a coach not from Miami, it would be a step down (from KSU).
