This was in William Jennings' latest recruiting notebook posted on the home page yesterday. Hadn't seen much discussion on it and thought it deserved its own thread.

Did we bring Guerrero in too early and maybe should we have held off for maybe the OSU game in Norman?

Or are schools like Kansas getting involved now going to be just too much to overcome regardless?

Who are the backup plans for Guerrero besides Elijah Carter? Any news on when Carter might visit?

Spring signing period is still two months away. Ugh.

I thought Guerrero wasn't any good, why would Kansas be recruiting him?

Kurtis Townsend of Kansas and Travis Ford, Chris Ferguson & Butch Pierre from Ok State watched PG Cezar Guerrero of Bellflower (CA)last nite

If Kansas lands him I think this would push all of the KU hate among The Capelables to new levels.

Well, we know what it feels like to come in a close second with some solid recruits. But, this will hurt more because we are lacking on other options (I guess the same could be said about last year, but with Clark and Taylor at the top, it was a better class, although the depth of the class was quantity rather than quality). I don't even see a Juan Patillo out there to ease the pain.

Keep an eye on Kareem Canty. I heard Capel has told him he'd be out to see him some time this month. Not sure if he's made it yet, but worth keeping him on the radar.
