I cannot find if she has a national ranking. 5-9 shooting guard. Had 5 three pointers in her high school semi final playoff game against Southlake Carroll. She scored 7 points in the final against Grand Prarie.

BlueStar has her rated #25. But ESPN, Prospectsnation and ASGR don’t have her rated. With Covid disruption it has been impossible for the services to see 2022 players as much as they would in a normal year..so I don’t think we can read too much into her ranking. At this point just glad that Jennie and her assistants are quickly diving into recruiting with all the offers and the commitments of Kayla and Kennady Tucker.

Yes it is good news. I wonder Cooper was being recruited by Osahor before the latter was hired by OU. Or if maybe Amy Wright was the connection. I am glad to see Baranczyk get a good one from Texas already.

A couple of points from the interview
- she has grown to 6'0"
- the contact to OU was Coach Amy Wright...she had been recruiting her at A&M
- She has been on an unoffical visit in Mid June and said she would come on an official visit in September. That official will likely be the Nebraska game and I will bet we will have a bunch of visitors going out to the 2025 class come in for that game.

Kayla is obviously an impressive young lady (go read the article.) I think she will represent well after she leaves college life and am thrilled to have her as a Sooner. Welcome Kayla!
