Going to see a kid play on there high school floor is one one way of letting them know you have interest in them, but going to watch them play over seas is showing a real commitment to that player that you want them... I’m sure that Sherri is looking at others who were on the team, but Moore is probably the biggest fish in the 2020 and 2021 classes Ou has a real chance at signing, she’s top 10 just about everywhere and is gettin attention from some of the big time schools. She is really versatile and would slide right into the starting 3 spot since Ana will be gone by then... I get that everyone is down on Sherri, but I think the all she does is wrong is a little over the top, I’m not her biggest fan since the program has be going down, but I see some improvements being made... I’m sure if Mulkey or Auston went to see Moore play overseas and win gold, everyone would ask why wasn’t Sherri there.
True, but the unfortunate part is that SC has not been consistently recruiting in this manner when it should be the standard for top 10 players in each class. And if Mulkey and others were there (they probably were or at least sent an assistant because they were already ahead in the recruiting process) as well because that is what they ALWAYS do. Programs with great recruiting strategies have "eyes on the ground" internationally. I think they were in Chile. Maybe it was also a great opportunity for a "vacation", especially if she has not traveled there before. If perceptions of entitlement and off the chain ego are true...then yep; she got a good little vacation paid for as well. :ez-laugh:
