Tough and Athletic, and they play hard. But not a whole lot of disciplined play. Lot of dribbling and bad shots. Not a lot of connection. We can beat them if we play like we did today. We need to value the basketball, play good team d.

I agree. We played them tough last year and for all intent and purpose, won that game, but didn't. We need to limit their ability to transition to easy baskets and play solid, tough, team defense and we can come out with the mild upset.

What is frustrating about the women's game is that the first two rounds are at the home teams court. We lost 3 more games than Kentucky, in a completely different conference- so they get the extreme advantage of playing at home? That isn't very fair to me. I don't think Stanford beats us last year without home court advantage, and I think we might be a better all around team than Kentucky, but we'll be fighting uphill the whole way. Don't seem right to me.

Epps will be a handful... If Little can hit her shots like yesterday the Sooners should win... Even tho Little and ViVi scored a lot for us, Manning can out and set the tone like she was the best player on the court last night... We need her to keep this mindset and we can go pretty far.

she looked really good with exception of the turnovers. Think that week off for her and Peyton was really big.

We will need great ball movement to find an open shooter because KY will defend us a lot better than Purdue did.

Great ball movement, without turnovers- Which is going to be a difficult. Just need to limit them. This isn't Baylor though, and we've seen some really athletic teams and done pretty well against them. I like our chances, just sucks they have home court. If Peyton is truly out of her funk, I expect a great outcome. If not things could get ugly. Loved the way Maddie played yesterday, she is starting to crack that next level it feels like. Expect more from Gioya game 2, but she played within the offense last game so that was good to see as well. We need to just play our game- and I think we win.

Hey, we have been the home team a few times. You have to get people in the seats. The only way I see it as an advantage is playing in a gym in which you are familiar and not having to travel. But we have been there a few days, re travelling. If you are at the college level and you let the crowd decide your play, then you deserve to lose. I understand you see it differently, just putting out a different perspective.

Looking at Kentucky's schedule and their wins and losses, they look like a better team than last year. Peyton, Maddie and Vivi will not win this game for us. We need at least 3 players at the top of their game and four more playing well. I hate to say this, but I am not optimistic. OU please prove me wrong and, if not, make it a great game.

Well, there is some pretty hard evidence that shows that home court, especially in college sports, creates a huge advantage. So while I know why they do it which is basically for monetary purposes. It doesn't necessarily give you an even playing field and I think that would be nice when considering the national champions. But I also agree they look pretty good off their schedule as well as after watching some games and highlights this year. They look very athletic. Makayla Epps is a great player, the have size, speed strength- I think we can definitely win though. They aren't Baylor. I don't think they are as good as Texas, and the pressure is on them- just wish it was a neutral court.

I understand about the neutral court.

As far as Texas, I think it depends upon Imani Boyette. She seems to not be consistent and I feel it is mental. Believe I would rather play Texas. I am so hoping I am wrong and we beat Kentucky. If we don't have at least 7 players playing well, I don't think it will happen. Of course, they could have an unusually bad game.
