Khadeem Lattin: Basketball in his blood

Khadeem has come so far since his debut early in the season, I can't wait to see how much better he'll be next year. He's going to be a great one someday!

I watched him closely in last night's game. He didn't even take a shot, but his stats; 5 rebounds (2 offensive) an assist and a steal didn't tell the whole story. With his length and nose for the ball, he's a real asset on defense.

He works so hard it's fun to watch him. He was all over the floor last night, going after shots and loose balls. That pass he made from the high post to Thomas was a thing of beauty. He's not afraid to mix it up, it's just that his thin frame limits what he can do right now. That will change in time, and when it does, look out!

GREAT article. Well worth a read. Khadeem comes from a great, well-grounded lineage. I love that his parents and grandfather see what a great coach does with players. Send your son to play for Coach Kruger and he will make them all they can be.

Throw in McNease and Manyang and we will have some length and possible rim protectors? I don't really expect McNease to contribute much until his redshirt Jr. or senior year though
