I’ll be negative. I hate this from a college basketball standpoint. But from an OU perspective, if they’re allowing it elsewhere then you’re at a disadvantage if you don’t do it. Hopefully it makes a positive impact.
This is correct. I hate that it's legal for us to go get a pro dude from Russia at the semester and he's immediately eligible. But, those are the new rules (or lack of).

It's a fine move from a roster standpoint, but the guy doesn't seem to be all that good. Probably just a practice body if I were guessing. But good job by the staff identifying that they are short a body at that position and addresssing it by any means necessary.
What makes you say he’s not all that good? The little film I’ve seen on him, he doesn’t come across as a “stiff” per se. Also seems to have a nice shot from outside. Time will tell if he adds to this team, but we do need another big that can play some minutes.

Mainly the stuff Brody Lusk said about him. And the film I watched he just doesn’t look as good as Mo or KR

80+% FT. This is a helpful addition imo.

The little bit of film floating around on him make him look pretty good. Good depth anyway. Never hurts to have another big that can bang down low.

he will be in norman by tomorrow .. they want to get him min next monday ..

at worst depth piece but they think he might be more
If you’re gonna have this dude fly to American to play for a semester then you better atleast try to get him some meaningful minutes.

Agreed. Knowing how Mo can get into foul trouble at times, and with Rogers being a true freshman and has also had some minor injuries already...it's a good move to add a 6'11" body who is 23 years old and has seemed to play against decent competition at times. I don't expect a ton from him, but this is a positive.
