Kruger on Alumni Weekend: "Blake was a huge key"

Good write-up from The Oklahoman this morning:

“Blake was a huge key,” Kruger said. “He was kind of critical to the whole thing. It makes a big difference, especially with traction and appeal...

“He's a highlight tape every night. People identify with Blake. Not just OU students, but everyone. But especially OU students.”

OU officials said more than 30 players plan to participate in the alumni game, a few of the older players simply wanting to run up and down the court a couple of times.

Throughout all the buzz for the game, I can't help thinking how I wish Wayman were still with us. He'd be one of the star attractions of such an event.
