Oklahoma Head Coach Lon Kruger
Opening Statement:
"We didn't offer much resistance tonight. Missouri is a very good ball club and Frank Haith has done a really good job. We thought we could stand in there and take two swings, but we didn't. I give credit to Missouri for that, but we have a lot of work to do and we will get back after it tomorrow and hopefully make some progress."
On how Missouri plays as a team:
"I think they are doing exactly that. They are very willing passers with a lot of confidence in one another. They seemed to be comfortable with their roles and trusted each other. They take care of their respective roles, and Frank again has them playing great. It appears their confidence is high. We didn't damage that tonight."
On being surprisingly dismantled in the game:
"To a degree, very surprised. We knew that it would be a tough challenge to come in here, but not offering anymore resistance than we did was quite surprising. Our guys have done a pretty good job of battling on the season, and we didn't tonight. We have got to get back to it."
On coming back from an opening conference loss:
"It is a challenge. We are tested at this moment, and we will see how we respond to it. Again, these guys don't like the feeling any better than I do and I know that to be the case and we will make some progress."
On what Coach Kruger would like to see in his club that Missouri has:
"Missouri is a terrific club, they have a lot of guys that can attack and that can make plays for each other. They trust each other and have confidence in each other to make plays. All coaches would like to see that in their teams."
