I got a text from a buddy said it was amazing to watch the KSU fans were LOL at the KU fans all game lone. KU only led for 47 seconds.

Said the KU fans have left the building. Look at the empty seats LMAO

I bet Cheno is wearing a purple shirt now and cheering on the Wildcats

We were at the games Thursday and KSU fans don't know how to win. They were up 20 over North Texas yelling at the refs from the top row with a minute to go in the game.

KU fans weren't that bad and had a lot closer game with Lehigh.

It was apparent to me that KSU fans are like OSU fans, they get more joy out of KU losing than their team winning.

Just my observation from the area we were sitting that had both KU and KSU fans.

Thats normally when you are new money. KSU fans will settle with a few strong years.

I agree.

You could tell they hadn't won in a while and they are giddy about their success.

As a long time Kansas resident and the grandson/son of K-State alumni I can tell you that the the amount of giddiness for K-State fans depends on how much they can remember or know about the history of their program... My grandparents and Mother, who experienced the coaching of Tex Winter and Lon Kruger and Jack Hartman remember very well the great basketball played at K-State. However, this new generation of wildcat fans do not know nor understand the vast history and prestige of K-State basketball and thus creates the giddy feeling for these newer Wildcats...

you should have joined in the fun, rather than come up with your lame theory.

First of all, I do not like a fan of another school calling an OU fan a loser. Not cool.

I live in the Kansas City area and I have many Kstate friends (including my best friend's husband) and neighbors and I can tell you without a doubt that after my 21 years in this state Cloud is correct.

With that said, all the best from here on out in the tourney.
