KSU's Pullen and Kelly suspended for receiving benefits

I agree especially about Pullen. Kelly started out the year suspended for not practicing hard so this is his 2nd suspension.
KSU really just isn't that good. That's why I scoffed at them being top 4 and picked to win the league. They just don't have that much talent and they really don't have many guys that can score.

Kelly won't be booted either. Suspended for "not practicing hard" really isn't a big deal either because he was just trying to get Kelly's attention at that point.

I think KSU will be good before the year is up and every bit as good as KU when it's all said and done. Right now KSU misses the PG they had last year and it takes time to get a new PG adjusted to the change in speed of the D-1 game. I hope they beat the ever-loving crap out of the jayhawks.

Martin is a stud. He is the hire of the century in the Big 12. Now we have to see if KSU can keep him. They had the hire of the century in the 80's with Lon Kruger and he got tired of coaching at his alma mater and headed to greener pastures.

I really thought the Frank Martin was just an appeasement hire to get Beasley on campus. He's always been a very good recruiting assistant, but I didn't think he could coach. Boy, was I wrong. Frank Martin can flat out coach and he has a lot more control of his team than I thought he would. I wouldn't mind having Martin at OU.

A lot of teams make mistakes by hiring ex duke players to be their coach. You guys fixed the problem, we will too.

edit: I'm also pretty sure I am on record as to saying Mike Anderson is One of the best coaches in the league

Agreed about Martin. I think its only a matter of time before K-State gets hit with sanctions; I doubt Martin has divested himself of his cheating ways.

Update: Gary Parrish of cbssports.com tweets "KSU forward Curtis Kelly will miss a total of six games for accepting impermissible benefits. He'll return 1/15 against Texas Tech."
