Guys I have always lived by a "win is a win" but I'm still trying to figure out what went wrong in the 2nd half.

To me, I'm no expert, part of the 2nd half problems was coaching and here is why I say coaching. The 1st half we were running and passing the ball with ease and up 12 to 13 at the half. The second half coach LK had them playing "slow down ball" which gave the cowgirls hope. Now I will say they did play good defense and caused a few turn overs but some of our turn overs where caused by our own players not putting forth a great effort. Buddy's 10 turn overs was excusable, no reason at all for a a potential POY to have 10 turn overs it was just poor play period. :facepalm

Why did we not have someone on Evans, a freshman getting 41 points and a lot of his points he was unguarded.

Ryan seemed out of sorts last night, he rebounded ok but his offensive play he seemed lost.

I hope we are ready for WV on Saturday because they will come to play.

I guess since I'm no coach I'll stay with a "win is a win" and hope one bad half for this far into the season is ok.

Perhaps they will, and perhaps they won't. No one would have predicted we'd have played a bad half last night.

We certainly have to prepare for them (and every other team we face) as if they will come to play, but the truth is, every team has its off nights and there's no predicting when or where it will happen.

It's likely that fans on the WVU boards are posting similar warnings because "OU will come to play."

Every conference game is a battle. Beating a good team in a competitive battle is what makes this fan-thing entertaining. Then add a coach like Huggy-Bear to the mix, and the intensity inside the LNC this Saturday afternoon should be electric. It should be a wild ride inside the LNC. Be there if you can.
