Lattin's intensity puts life into practice

Good to know Lattin is being more assertive and setting himself up as a team leader. I see that as a good thing, providing he finds a way to lead by example by staying out of foul trouble. This team needs him on the floor, not watching from the bench.

Two other interesting tidbits in this article: Doolittle showing his pal Trae Young some respect by giving up his #11 jersey. Fans who attend practice sessions will finally get their first look at Hannes Polla next week.

Chance for OU fans in Tulsa to get a look at Manek on Thursday ...

• Manek to play at All-State: Manek plans to participate in the OCA's All-State game Thursday at the Mabee Center in Tulsa.

Manek was selected to the Large West team after his senior year at Harrah.

“My brother, my mom and my dad were all part of the All-State Game,” Manek said. “So it's really important to me.”

Trae Young was also selected to the Large West team but is not planning on participating.
