I'm not trying to be negative here, but we had Courtney and a good cast around her, no National Championships, Baylor's Griner had an even better cast and only 1 national championship. I would love to have all six of the above mentioned, but I am a realist, show me!!!

No doubt National Championships require a mix of talent & luck. But I expect if we got all 6 of those girls we would certainly be in a position to compete strongly for one - and if fortunate win multiple times.

At the same time, it would be pretty surprising if we signed all of them, but 3 of the 6 are already committed to us, so if we get even one more good times are likely ahead.

Wouldn't it be marvelous if we somehow worked our way to Tampa this year? It's not something most expect to happen - but anything can happen in the BIG DANCE - and our girls proved beyond any doubt in the pregame videos, that they can dance with the best of them.

I know the article was from a UConn-based site, but gross! I hope it was a deterrent to her going to UConn if they told her what they told Breanna Stewart. My response would have been, "what does Breanna Stewart have to do with me?" I really hope someone unseats UConn this year, but I don't know if a team has the personnel + the coaching to do it. South Carolina has the personnel, but the coaching isn't up to par. Staley needs to learn how to lead her team in tough situations without pouting.

a starting 5 of Ortiz, Dungee, Ana, Mulkey, Cox... would be hard to beat... We could also see players like Jade Williams and Johnson off the bench...

Now that her season is over, I know Cox is getting heat to choose. She said as much in the last couple of articles the news media wrote about her. Just my opinion, but I think she makes a decision in the fall of this year.

I'd put our chances at about 30 to 35 percent right now. South Carolina, Texas, UConn: it's going to be hard to keep her from going to one of those, I think.
