Lavin with prostate cancer...

Saw this just now on ESPN; fortunately they caught it in the early stages per the story. Thoughts and prayers are with Lavin and his friends and family.

Wow, thats terrible. I really like Steve Lavin, and he is obviously a great basketball coach too.

Man that's a tough break for him. Great guy and seemed like he was redeeming his coaching career. Hope the best for him.

Both Jim Boeheim and Calhoun have had prostate cancer and undergone successful prostatectomies. Something in the big least water?

My Dad had prostrate cancer and while a painful process he is now cancer free. It is a slow growing cancer and caught as early as it was I have no doubt Lavin will make a full recovery. Just another reminder for us guys to get that checked once a year.
