IF, and that is a big if, Lebron can somehow win this finals, it will go a long way to cementing his legacy. This may be the worst roster ever in a finals now that kyrie and love are gone.

He's putting up Blake numbers!

In all seriousness, if he can pull this off, G.O.A.T. is within grasp. It's going to be tough for even him to keep this up.

He's a beast. But I get the feeling the Warriors will do what they did to Memphis. They have to shoot horrible 3 more times in 5 games to lose. Doubt it happens.

The Cavs, Blatt and Lebron deserve all the credit in the world for mucking it up and playing their asses off no matter the outcome.

Why put Lebron's name there? They won game 2 for 1 or 2 reasons, neither of which was Lebron. It was due to some combination of Della's defense, and simply a bad shooting night from Curry. All he has to do is make one more shot in regulation, go 6-23 from the field instead of 5-23 from the field, and GS wins.

Sorry, but Lebron was 11-35 from the field in that game. That is brutal. That is something you would never see from an MJ, Magic, or Larry Bird in a championship series game.

LBJ showing why he is the best player in the world, and it's not really close. He is doing special things.

Sorry man but you are off on this one.
He is having a historic finals performance. yes he didn't shoot it well in game two. It is frustrating to me b/c i tuned into the game in the fourth quarters for both games and he looked like crap. but his shooting was the only negative. He is scoring, distributing, rebounding, and playing defense. When your team is depleted and you don't really have any other true scorers to go to, your shooting percentage will take a hit.

i'm a pretty big lebron "hater" but i'm cheering hard for the cavs and am just enjoying this performance

True, because you would never see any of those guys in the Finals with this roster.

I still don't think they will pull it off but if they do it will be one of the greatest sports stories and performances of all-time in any sport.

I don't know that I 100% agree with your first statement, but even if it's true, it's not an apples to apples comparison. The NBA of today isn't anything like the NBA of the Bird/Magic, or even Jordan eras. It's just not. Not in the way the game is played. And not in the way the business side is done. Lebron would literally have cried himself out of the league playing against the toughness of a Boston or Detroit back in the day. He also basically gets a free pass to the Finals based on the current status of the east. Wasn't until Boston's roster fell apart that Lebron could even do that.

But we'll see. Like you said, it's a moot point if they don't win it anyways.

lol I love it when people act like the NBA was better in the past than it is now. Lebron would have been real intimidated by the skinny weaklings of the 80s. Not. The Celtics had nobody that could have stayed in front of this monster.

The caliber of athlete that plays basketball now is orders of magnitude better.

****ing Paul Pierce gave Lebron fits when Paul Pierce was what, 34 years old? lmao

Lebron is guardable. As seen from his efficiency stats/numbers. Least offensively efficient "GOAT" I've ever seen.

Celtics didn't have anybody that could defend Magic or MJ either, but they managed to beat them both more often than not.

Are we really debating if the guy averaging 41.0 PPG, 12.0 RPG, and 8.3 APG...and beating a 67 win team without his 3 sidekicks that make more than 6M...is having a great series?

Dellavedova has played a big role in these last two games, but let's not pretend he's the key to this.

Some people are not impressed b/c he has taken a lot of shots and missed a lot of shots. He is putting up monster numbers though and his team is winning. and it is in the finals. this is rare stuff we are seeing. and he plays defense

But what is funny is that if I remember correctly, boca was ragging on westbrook during his historic run in feb/march of this year because of the number of shots westbrook was putting up.

Unlike boca, at least I'm consistent. I "criticized" Westbrook, same way I am Lebron. :D

Maybe MJ, but not my guy Magic & the Lakers...... Magic beat Bird 2-1 in NBA Finals. Those matchups were colossal.

Lebron has the second highest career PER in NBA history only slightly trailing Jordan. Lebron also has 3 of the top 10 single season highest PER in NBA history. None of your little 80s Celts, including Bird, are in the top 10.

You mean the thread where I said Curry would win the MVP? Which he did. The thread I said the Thunder better be worried about making the playoffs? Which they didn't. The thread where I said Lebron was the real MVP? Which he is.

As usual your memory and/or intelligence is lower tier. Maybe it was you your mom burned with matches. lol lol lol

none of those things you listed have anything to do with the point of my post....not surprisingly
