Is this from the same source you used when you broke the news we were hiring Kruger 2 years ago? :clap

What else do you know if so?

Wouldn't be a surprise since he made a living in Vegas taking transfers. He used to get a bunch of UCLA guys and maybe he still has that connection. Although Norman isn't as close to LA as Vegas is.

Given that D-1 transfers have to sit out a year, what type of player do you prefer? He will not be available until the 2014-15 season.

I prefer the best student/athlete we can get, regardless of position. My guess is that OU will not take someone that is weak in the classroom. At least, I hope not.

I'd like to keep the big man gravy train rolling! Carter - Wright (good character kid iffy player) - Osby - M'Baye - Spangler - ?

That makes sense to me. I think the post players can really use the extra (redshirt) year to mature and gain strength.

Wasn't the Young kid for KU one of those JR graduates (Russell Wilson for Wisconsin) who could transfer and play right away? I'd take one of those kind of transfers right now.

There is also the possibility that OU could bring in a recruit who signed with a school that fired their coach (UCLA, for example). The NCAA may not require a kid to sit out after transferring in a case like that.

Either way, I'm with you on bringing in the best student/athlete available, with an emphasis on a high-character young man who will not disrupt the harmony we have enjoyed the last two years. I never want to go down that road again!

Young spent two years at Loyola Marymount before going to a juco to get his degree. I'm guessing that's why he didn't have to sit out after transferring to KU.

He's an excellent example of a role player who can be a huge asset to any D-1 team. I would take a blue collar, effort guy like him in a heart beat.

Any chance we try to go after Julian Royal, I heard Tony Parker from ucla might be transferring too

I hope Kruger is on the horn looking at guys like that who could potentially play right away.

With that Fieler kid from FGCU was one of those guys that could transfer immediately. He'd step in quite nicely to our lineup.

How about Sherwin Brown or the pg at FGCU? I don't know if they can play at a Big XII level but they looked good in the tournament.

Goodman from CBS said he will release his Full list in a couple days.
