Ljeoma Odimbge

We've talked about her in the past, has she been to OU yet? I think she's our last chance at getting a top 100 post player for this class.
 
She would not be a bad pick up for the sooners! Let's get her on campus!
 
I am probably in the minority but unless she is an elite player, I would rather pass on her. We have limited ships available. We have plenty of average to good players but we need difference makers. There are plenty of elite players for 2016 and I would like to see us save our ships and try to sign two elite players in that class.

I would feel the same way if we had a verbal from a top 2016 post, with our luck we could miss out on Cox who at this time is the only 2016 post that is for sure looking at OU. Being from the state of GA could also help open up a pipeline, right now it's looking like were going to have a class of no one or a class of 3/2star commits.

Great debate.
But with no elite posts from 2016 verbaled, and none leaning to OU that anyone can locate. If you can pick up an athletic post in 2015 do it, hoping that Pierre Louis/Treece/2015 girl are further along in dev to compliment the young guards.
 
Texas has 3 really good forwards/posts in Cox, Holmes, and Ceira Johnson. McCoy from Illinois is really good too. I would like to think that OU is spending a great deal of time building relationships with all four. If we just signed one of them, it would be great.

Add a player like Amber Ramirez and we are definitely in the top 10, possibly top 5 in the country.

I hope OU signs Ijeoma. And would be fine with OU calling it quits and moving onto
2016/2017 classes where OU seems to have more momentum with early verbals
and some in state targets.

With the ACL tear, Penzo is now really part of the 2015 class.
I still think some attrition is coming due to the guard depth/playing time pressure.
reclassifying Penzo to 2015 sort of helps there.

I think it's too early to worry about not having a commitment from an elite 4/5 in the 2016 class. Most of the best players will not commit until next summer.

Yep, gotta agree with you. :)

My thinking is, we likely have enough players on the roster as good as this girl. But, if we pass on this one, we might be able to sign a top 20 player with that ship in a few months.

Add mobile athletic height whenever you can is my thought.
I think the ships will be there in 2016 for whoever OU wants to sign.
