Hope you are right because we are getting very little out of Maddie.

Let's see. As we broke the game open while Gabbi wasn't hitting anything (did score five of the first eight), Maddie scored 13 on 3 of 4 from three, 5 of 7 from the field, grabbed six boards, got a block and two steals to break the game open 47-12 (her three got us to 47), at which time she was our leading scorer. Then, she was pulled for the rest of the first half and only played about four minutes of the third quarter (23 total) as the team coasted (58-51) the rest of the way. When it was time to define the game, Maddie did it. Vivi, Maddie, and Gabbi sat out the entire fourth quarter. Even pulled Penzo and let the "kids" finish it off.

Ana made some key plays throughout the game, and it is essential that our five starters have at least three scoring. But, this was a team win. When you put down a good team 47-12, the starters had done their jobs.

I haven’t look at the stats, but believe Anna was lighting it up pretty well all game. She was the surprise of the game. It was a breakout game for her, hopefully.

Maddie had a great game too. Probably one of her top 5 in her OU career.

But Anna was the standout.

It’s early but there’s a good chance both Ana and Shay gain All big 12 freshman honors, when was the last time OU accomplished that? Recruiting is definitely heading in the right direction...

Does Shaina go by Shay? My favorite softball player is Shay, at least for this month.

Laeticia Amihere called her Shay on twitter, so I'm guessing it's a nickname...

Amihere has retweeted a lot of Ou stuff about Pellington, they must be pretty close...
