Man left behind?

This morning Toby said that someone didn't make the trip, but he didn't have authority to say who. He was going to try to see if he could get permission, but I didn't hear the end of the show. Any idea on who that may be?

Gary posted this yesterday. Frank's back problem is real. Anything beyond that is pure conjecture:

Frank is having some back trouble. He didn't practice today. But, he isn't incapacitated. He and Buford were on the far end of the court goofing around and taking shots. The rest is conjecture on my part. He is expected to miss two games.

Might be because he decided to grab his junk after making that three against ORU. Can't imagine LK liked that very much.

This grabbing the junk thing seems to have come out of left field.

Frank has been battling back problems all season. You probably can't tell on TV because the camera angle is a little funky, but Yo-Yo is often working on Frank's back behind the Sooner bench during games.

The more pressing matter is.......did Buford make his grades?

I don't know that it's a disciplinary action, but what seems odd to me is Booker isn't making the trip with the team to Vegas. I would expect to see him traveling but being in street clothes for the game or maybe even suiting up but not playing.

It could be they gave him the choice and he chose not to go on the trip. Maybe he opted to go home a couple of days early for Christmas to rest his back. I just can't see him sitting in Norman with no students around (football players are even gone). They don't even have the cafeteria open. I suspect McNeace, Buford, and Booker have all gone home.

If he was going to sit out a couple of games because of back problems, Kruger could have issued a statement and nobody would have questioned it. Why can't Toby say anything without getting permission? It's just being handled strangely IMHO.

I would guess that he is getting treatment and rehabbing in Norman. Harder to heal a bad back while sitting on planes and busses. In Norman he can get healed up a lot faster
