Many said we could lose to TCU AND ISU and get in...

Can't blame the coach when the players can't step up. Pledger played a good first half then choked when it mattered. The freshman are freshman they're gonna make mistakes. Grooms kept us in it the last 2 min. Why we go away from Osby down the stretch in every game baffles me. Maybe that's coaching or maybe it's players not executing. Cam played a good game but he's not a go-to type player. That said, I think we make the tourney but its gonna be tough to advance.

ISU did a good job of limiting Romero in the 2nd half. When that happens, the other 4 have to step up, offensively. They didn't do that.

I feel completely gutted. Time to cheer against all the other bubble teams and then pray.

don't worry guys we're just taking one for the Big 12 so ISU get's a guaranteed spot in the dance. Nothing to see here.

I do feel like this is all that was accomplished today. I would feel better if OStste was to take care of Baylor today.

Just to be safe, we need a few of these teams to lose in various conference tournaments:

Alabama
Baylor
Ole Miss
Boise State
Arizona State
New Mexico State
Tennessee

Not if Baylor wins the Big 12. Their "resume" won't have anything to do with their bid.

We're going to be one of the last 4-6 in I'd imagine. How far up or down that list is yet to be determined. If you don't think that is on the bubble, fine, but that is exactly where we are.

Yes I don't see Baylor getting in unless they win the Big 12 Tourney or maybe if they make to the Finals. That beng said, I'm glad if I'm sweating come selection Sunday. I mean the past 3 seasons I have not been sweating, and that is only because OU had no chance at making any tourney. Let alone the big one! Also, we're in, barring some crazy upsets.

Beat Baylor twice.
Boise already lost.
Ole Miss is WAY behind us, as well as ASU.
Alabama's resume is blah...only worthy win is over Kentucky.
NMSU?

Yeah, ASU lost its last four regular season games and has an RPI of 81. Every one of those teams would have to win multiple games or their conference tournaments to jump OU.

This. Everyone on here knows how OU has played lately, but very few pay attention to what other teams are doing (or not doing) around the county. There are other schools that have had unimpressive showings down the stretch that were already behind us.

ASU just lost too. The pickings are getting slimmer for ye of little faith.

Az State just lost too. Keep hoping for the other bubble teams to fall.

...well, you jokers get to sweat it out for the next 4 days.

You act like some of us wanted it to happen. I think I, along with others, have simply said we'd done enough before that to get in.

No one wanted to have to see it play out that way though.

according to Jerry Palm, these are on the bubble as well
KY
Vill
St Marys
LA tech
Akron
Wich State
Iowa St
Temple

Baylor getting destroyed right now - OSU 31 BU 16.

Good. Not only does it help us a little this year in regards to making the Tournament, but Baylor is a team I'd like to see come back to earth a bit in terms of winning and recruiting.

And Cal just lost to a horrid Utah team. Cal probably makes it in, but we are definitely ahead of them on the seed line.

Watching the late game on ESPN, I wouldn't mind drawing either Marquette or Notre Dame in the first game....we would certainly have a decent shot.
