He should've went to a basketball school like Kansas or Kentucky.

Kid is a different breed. They dont make em like him anymore

He's better than I thought he would be. I thought he would be OSU's 3rd best play, but now I feel he is the best player and by far the most important on the team.

Uh, let's wait till he plays against REAL competition. I believe Sunday they will play NC State ranked #6. I know he can do nice things against rumdumbs but seems like when they play tougher teams his game goes down.

They played Tennessee today, a borderline top 25 team

OSU played better today, but I don't think anybody that watched Tennessee today would be confusing them as a potential top 25 team.

To further this theory, Tennessee beat UNC-Asheville by 7 yesterday, which is losing to Akron by 24 with under 4 left..... not seeing Tennessee as a Top 25 team right now

ESPN had them at # 31 in a pre-season poll, not that an espn preseason poll matters much.

Either way, OSU beat them soundly and that's always good.

Maymon, Tennessee's best player is out indefinitely with a knee injury. If they have him it may be a different story.

We would have only won by 10?

If we're playing the "what if" game, it would have also been a different story if we had Olukemi, Cobbins and Williams.

Please tell me who this Tennessee player is that is better than Jarnell Stokes. Stokes is first team all SEC. We were without Cobbins, Williams and JP. Using your theory we would have won my 50 had we had them

I swear I see you on this board more than some OU fans. What gives??

I think you may be reading to much into the post. No one is saying it was not a good win for OSU. Just saying the Tennesse team we saw play, looked nothing like a top 25 team. The missing a player from Tennesse team may have made them look better, that does not mean OSU does not still win the game.

And I think everyone would agree OSU would be better at full strenght.

Maymon was their 2nd leading scorer and leading rebounder last year. Stokes may have more potential, especially for the NBA but last year Maymon was Tennessee's most effective player. And I'm not implying that if Maymon had played UT would have won, I'm saying they would look more like a fringe Top 25 team with their full lineup.

Gotcha and I agree.

Whenever you can beat a BCS school in November, especially in blowout fashion and on a neutral court, it's always a good win. Congrats, OSU fans.
