Matt Christiansen, is a 2012 post from Bishop Mcguiness who has been on visits to Notre Dame and Michigan.
Now this is me jumping to conclusions in some ways as I believe he is a Colorado visitor based on his seat location (not behind the OU bench like normal visitors) and is wearing a cu t-shirt. If my guesses are true then I've lost even more faith in Capel.

If he is behind the Buff bench he probably bought his own ticket right???

I have no idea on how it works but he is about 3/4ths of the way up in the lower bowl behind the cu bench. I am also not 100% sure it is him, it looks like him and he is tall so I believe it to be him. This situation just seems weird.

Have you seen how many kids from Texas, Kansas, and Okla that we are in on that are actually in the top 100. If we bring in 2 more guys in this class, and with the committment of Peters in 2012 already, we only have 2 scholarships left in that class...why in the world do you care about this kid. I would be more disappointed in Capel if we actually got this kid with all of the potential players that we could bring in.

I am actually happy to see him wearing a Colorado shirt.

He'll be a top 150-200 type player before it's done. Remember all the top 100 kids we were in on this year? Remember Ryan Spangler?

We were in on a ton of kids in 2010 and how did that work out?
This kid should at least being getting some occasional love so he becomes a good back up option if 2010 happens in 2012. He is a better back up option then scrambling for jucos again.

So b/c we missed out on this year, we should start settling...I disagree.

I will wait and see on what happens with Spangler b/c i remember a name by M. Carter who is averaging 3.2 ppg for the Zags. We already have a bunch of Christiansen guys on this roster...and Peters might be the same type of player, maybe better...maybe worse...but this team needs some solid recruits now.

We have Peters...we don't need Peters and Christiansen. And what if we sign 3 more guys instead of 2 this year....that will leave us w/ 1 more scholarship plus Peters.

I'm sorry but theres a reason he's wearing a Colorado shirt.

So you don't think that we should even be covering our rear end by at least reaching out to Oklahoma kid. At the very least it looks good down the road when the talent level picks back up.

Count me in the group that says if this kid has talent and if he has top 150 talent, then we should be recruiting him.

The fact he's from McGuinness tells me he's probably a good student, probably understands the game and is coachable, probably has some talent, and his family is close by so he won't get homesick.

What's not to like about the kid?

Watch us sign some prospect from Maryland who comes and is homesick and then leaves us holding the bag. I sure hope this isn't what happens...

Capel is barely allowed to talk to the kid at this point.

Peters already fills that spot. Theres a reason why MC is only a 2 star on scout and only a 3 on rivals. And honestly...if we have to settle on MC, its obvious that its a sign that Capel will be gone. MC = Capel is gone...so Capel should aim big and try to bring in top talent b/c thats the only way we will be back to a top program again.

Of course you hope this is what happens.
