NORMAN — University of Oklahoma Vice President and Director of Athletics Roger Denny and Head Men's Basketball Coach Porter Moser announced Monday the hiring of Lucas McKay as OU's first-ever men's basketball general manager.

McKay joins the Sooners with more than two decades of experience as a basketball support staff member, administrator, coach and general manager. Fourteen of those years were spent at Clemson under head coach Brad Brownell.

I think this a great hire. He had great success at Clemson and hope he can do the same here.

Clemson's current coach only had 4 20 win seasons in 9-10 seasons before Lucas and now has had 4 20 win seasons in a row (I know the ACC has plummeted), including his career best 27 wins in a season over his 24 year HC career

100% agree. Roster management is obviously most important but seems like that would be something explicitly under his responsibility.
