Meet Frosh Kiwi

6-11?

bet that's a stretch, but he talked about how he was still growing when we signed him. If you look at him in the huddles at OU games, he's every bit as tall as Lattin, almost as tall as McNease. I always thought he would probably be a solid 6'8, but I have no doubt he's at least 6'9 pushing 10. Just an impressive athlete at that size, just need to pack some weight and game experience on him.

wish we had an overseas trip this summer or fall.

Yes, 6' 11" may be a bit of a stretch. Rivals' Eric Bossi said he's a "legit" 6' 9" and may be closer to 6' 10". Some of the sites I have been on have him listed at 6' 10". So, I think it's safe to say that he is somewhere between 6' 9" and 6' 11".

The skills he brings to the table are very impressive for a guy his size. He can dribble, pass and shoot with range to beyond the arc. I have no idea what kind of completion he faced in high school. But averaging 31 points and 13 rebounds is pretty darned good regardless of the competition. The article said he scored 135 points in his last three games. My math shows that's 45 points per game.

He also played against tougher competition on the summer tour last year. One tournament was "Adidas Nations" where he averaged 17.8 ppg and 3.3 rpg. He was also 11 of 23 (48.2%) from three point range. He typically shoots better than 40% from that distance.

I've seen Lattin's height listed at 6'9" (lately), 6'10", 6'11" and 7 feet. I will believe what I personally measure.
