chemo worked. the switch has flipped. same with jr smith. i don't know if it is because of his third tour with the olympic team, a full training camp with mike woodson, kidd's leadership, or amare being out. but right now, he "gets it." second in the east is a real possibility, and it will only happen with amare coming off the bench.

You beat me to it red. After watching the Knicks roar back to beat the Spurs tonight I was thinking they look legit.

Felton, Kidd, JR Smith, Melo & Chandler is a nasty closing lineup. They can defend, rebound, penetrate, post up, shoot from the perimeter, pretty much do it all.

When they get Stoudemire & Shumpert back it will only make them stronger but the lineup above is very tough to deal with.

any other year, he takes that three in transition late in the game. instead, he pump fakes, puts it on the deck and passes to felton and winds up with the hockey assist that puts the game away.

and felton, not even an afterthought in a non-existent a backup plan for lin. what is it about new york? two different systems in NY, doesn't matter. not very good in charlotte and portland, doesn't matter. he's such a better fit with melo than lin would have been, and just thrives with the knicks. dolan gets the blind squirrel move of the year (morey knew what he was doing with asik).

Stoudemire needs to be coming off the bench, he will just screw everything up.

Looks like the Suns medical staff was dead on with Stoudemire advising management to only guarantee 3 of his 5 year deal with the last 2 only owed if he stayed healthy for the first 3.

The injury sidelining him 2 months is with the same knee that required microfracture surgery twice. It's very possible he's never the same and the Knicks will be eating the last 3 years of his contract.

The good news they are somehow only paying JR Smith $2.8 million. How much $ has he left on the table being a knucklehead?
