When you shoot 31% from the field and 6-22 behind the arc and the other team shoots 72 percent, you get your behind handed to you.

The girls were there. Maybe they jinxed them.

JK -- kinda of.

What a time to be inconsistent. Our women's team does not play like that in the Final 4 - they have been reasonably competitive - played UConn to within 12 in 2002 Final 2, for example.

If our women suffered a 40 point loss in post-season the consensus from this board would be that it's all on Sherri and "Something Must Be Done".

I don't know that to be true, Tango. Of course it's been a while since we got anywhere close to a final four, so my memory of those games is cloudy and dark.

It doesn't matter if your memory of FF games is cloudy or not. Based on my memory of more recent posts from this board Tango's observation is spot on.

It seems to me that there is general agreement that our recruiting needs to improve and there is considerable sentiment to make staff changes.

I do not concur with any staff changes. That is up to Sherri. It is all up to Sherri.

Message board complaints do not belong in the decision making process of a responsible program.

Everyone (almost everyone) should agree that the recruiting needs to improve. If not, the coaching needs to improve, then.
