I like both choices as assistant coaches. Both should be strong recruiting assistants and getting Osahor to leave Arkansas to me indicates a level of commitment from Joe C as I have to think she would require a solid raise to get her to leave Neighbors staff.
I see that Chantel was a GA at Drake with Jennie for a couple of years before Mike Neighbors hired her at Arkansas in 2019.
Absolutely no college experience really between the two, though. Zero for Neal and 2 years at Arkansas for Chantel. It will be on the job training. lol
I like both hires, but i'm wondering what the difference is between Oshahor and CP3? Does she have a few years coaching under her belt? Is she a proven recruiter? I hope we see some immediate differences! Exciting times!
Most recently, Osahor served as the Graduate Manager at Drake University after she was hired back in August of 2017, where she helped guide the Bulldogs to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances.
Interesting interview with Coach Osahor…a bit of discussion of general OU stuff on the early days of being here. She comes across as very sharp and articulate.
