Might just be talk and leverage plays.....

But there are a lot of rumors out there that Melo is leaning towards the Lakers, and Lebron is seriously considering going back to Cleveland.

Bosh appears to be Houston's backup plan to Melo.

If Cleveland can land Lebron and Love, they probably jump to the top of the East. Irving, Lebron, and Love, to go with their young talent, is a heck of a roster to start with.

Melo was playing with Love & Kobe at ucla yesterday. Supposedly Kobe was at the top of his game. A ucla assistant said he looked like he had a brand new set of legs. Still doubtful Melo joins Kobe. They are both volume shooters.

Heat get commits from McRoberts & Granger. That's a slight upgrade over Rashard Lewis & Battier.

Sheridanhoops is reporting that Lebron's entire inner circle is unanimous that he should return to Cleveland. I've said all along the Cavs have the best talent assembled for him to play with. But we'll see. It would certainly be a kick in the gut to Cleveland for Lebron to get their hopes up and snub them again.

I think Carmelo is better than ABD gives him credit for but not certain the Lakers wouldn't be better off with Lance Stephenson at half the price and waiting for Kevin Love next season.

All quiet. Looks like Lebron & Carmelo are waiting until after the World Cup semis to have the spotlight to themselves.

The other game is tomorrow at 1 pacific so expect the rumors and announcements on Thursday.
