Mississippi State lost three of the last four, but they haven't suffered in the polls. The lost to Missouri, Georgia, and South Carolina. They get Tennessee next.
Tennessee leads Ky 35-28 at the half. They are shooting over fifty percent, unlike Tennessee, as well as 5 of 7 from three. They are leading in rebounding. Kentucky can't hit anything longer than a layup. But, it is still a game because Tennessee has 12 turnovers to Ky's nine.
Louisville is killing Syracuse at the half, 39-20. It isn't that close. Syracuse looks like a D-2 school---slow and untalented. How did they beat Washington and VPI? Asia Durr, who didn't impress me in the U-19 games in Moscow when Salvadores wiped her out, leads Louisville with eleven: two three pointers and five for five from the line. Still looks slow, but she can shoot, which I didn't think she could.
