Call me out all you want, but the guy is a selfish loser. We have heard too many of these stories to keep pumping sunshine about how hes mistreated and not understood. I do feel bad for him though b/c hes is talented, he is just getting in his own way.

Who ever pumped sunshine about him being mistreated and misunderstood?

I seriously dont recall those people...

It was a pretty strong consensus that he was a big part of the problem...
 
was that while he was at ou or what? also can someone fill me in on all of this #randomncomment stuff what does it mean? they do something else too.. its a link to twitter or what?

Agree to disagree. Not the point though.
 
He said this story on the radio about an hour ago. This was while he was at OU. Gottleb was also big on allowing coaches to see players more not less and that the current system benefits the bigger schools the most.

What do you mean? As in coaches allowed time with current players or recruits?
 
I'd rather just move on from TMG etc...

I don't wanna remember his tenure here and it does nothing positive to drag him thru the coals every few days.

Pretty sure no one has defended TMG.

This just sounds par for the course.

This guy was in the program for one year and as best as I can tell set us back at least this year and possibly next. May have had a rough childhood or whatever, but clearly he was a big part of the problem.

As for the grief Tiny Gallon gets, I'm a little more empathetic. Guy came to OU, worked his butt off (literally in the off season), and seemingly got just as worn out on TMG as the rest of us. But for the alleged $3,000.00 deal, he'd still be here and this team would be vastly improved. A few stupid tweets later and the guy is a punchline...he is 19 or 20 and says stupid stuff on twitter, love to have him on this roster with these players.

Good post. I mentioned something to this effect a month or so ago. Sure Tiny had his faults, but he would still be here if not for the payment issue. He deserves some blame for that, but he showed more effort at the end of the year and would have definitely given this team a few more wins this year.

I don't hold a grudge against any of these kids (that would be silly), but I definitely don't lump Tiny's issues with TMG's.

i agree with your main point but lets not kid ourselves. I think tiny was gone after last year regardless of the money thing. I mean, he's got three cars now people
 
mental note: stay away from players with ironic nicknames and hyphenated names
 
Let the kid play without tape. TMG was a bum and horrible guy for our program, but I don't get why he had to be taped.
 
Question, why was capel allowing tmg to play in games if he was leaving practice?

I still and will always put last year on capel....a little discipline could have gone a long way to making last years team better.

this. i knew tiny personally & he was a jerk.. he would NOT be here because the ONLY time he ever tried in a game was when he knew NBA people were watching him.

just a side note him & tommy were roommates as well & bff. they did everything together
