I'm going to plug the Big 12 here. If strength of schedule is important to the committee, you can't leave Sherri Coale out. Doesn't she have one of the toughest strength of schedules in the country? So you can't have it both ways. I think I read somewhere Sherri Coale ... has one heck of a non-conference strength of schedule. Now you gotta win some of those games, but if we're going to push coaches and programs to play these strength of schedules, don't punish them if they don't win those games.

I have personally followed Big 12 women's basketball for a long time and if I wasn't at work my jaw would be on the floor

Good for Kim. I have to agree that she never schleps for another team even if they are in her league. Really glad to see that she said something in this regard.

Before you get to excited watch and wait there is something underlying here.. Mulkey has always put everyone in this league down vs pac 12 who supports all their teams..now she needs ou in ...if big 12 only gets 2 it starts to water down her schedule even more. Please don’t give this woman any more power or attention than she gets...she’s a good floor coach period and that is all anyone should say about Mulkey. Sorry I’m not a hater of anyone but recent events over past years have made me see a very undesirable side to college athletics and i can be fooled by Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde here ....

Exactly! Sulkey Mulkey only makes selfish statements. She’s politicing for number one seed, which I don’t think she deserves based on a very weak non conference season.

Couldn't agree more. Mulkey doesn't hand out compliments or lobby for the benefit of another program unless it benefits her or her program in some way.

I know Kim isn’t for everyone, and I’m not even the biggest fan of her as a person... but man she coaches her A** off always up and moving it’s almost like Baylor has 6 players on the floor at a time.
